Financial Data

PILLAR’s Board Report and Command Center display financial metrics alongside CRM-synced revenue data. Financial data (EBITDA, burn rate, cash balance, unit economics) comes from your finance team, not your CRM.

How It Works

  1. Navigate to Settings > Financial Data
  2. Download the CSV template
  3. Fill in your quarterly or monthly P&L data
  4. Upload the CSV — PILLAR validates and imports
Each row is one period (e.g., 2026-Q1). PILLAR upserts on the unique combination of organization + period, so re-uploading the same period overwrites the previous values.

CSV Template

Download the template from the Financial Data settings page, or use this format:

What Feeds the Board Report

The Board Report combines two data sources:
  1. CRM-synced data (automatic): Pipeline, ARR by account, renewal dates, opportunity stages, win/loss rates
  2. Financial data (uploaded): EBITDA, burn rate, cash balance, headcount, unit economics
This separation is by design. CRMs don’t store P&L data. Most $5-50M ARR companies track financials in QuickBooks, Xero, or spreadsheets. The CSV import bridges the gap without requiring an accounting system integration.

Update Frequency

Most organizations update financial data quarterly, aligned with their board reporting cadence. Monthly updates are supported for companies that track P&L monthly.
